Gerald Moreno – distorter and would-be destroyer of reputations

leave a comment »

ExBaba blog has received the following from Robert Priddy:-

The former well-known Swedish actor, subsequently therapist and successful author, Conny Larsson is currently receiving much praise in the Swedish and Finnish media – plus other Scandinavian outlets – for his searingly honest autobiographical books (see here and here ). Larsson is widely loved for his courage and personality and has won the friendship of very many people, especially after his major books, and he has been popular ever since he first became a national figure in Sweden in the 1970s. See some fraction of the coverage of this personality in Sweden here and here

Gerald Moreno tries relentlessly to assassinate the character of Conny Larsson but any proper investigation of their comparative statures as to human morality and values, their characters, their writings, or their life achievements, show that Moreno is an unremarkable midget compared to Larsson. Everyone he tries to belittle through false means only belittles himself the more. However, Moreno skulks in his figurative hole in virtual reality  as much as he can. He has virtually no friends to support him publicly – unless we count the foul-mouthed Sai devotee Lisa de Witt, who exceeds even him in vituperative and fanatical attacks.

Moreno show his meanness of spirit in many lengthy and concocted attacks on Basava Premand. Moreno’s narrow mentality and slippery evasiveness is like a sore thumb throughout his long, cranky and noxious diatribes where he cannot face any of the challenges put to him about what he has written (see here). Basava Premanand was a figure in India and not least the world of anti-cult media, having been interviewed in many world-wide TV productions (see here), including the BBC’s ‘The Secret Swami’ and in several Discovery Channel programmes about his work. In India, The Telegraph wrote:  “Premanand, (has) been honored by the government with its highest award for the promotion of scientific values among the public.” Moreno went to huge lengths to refute this indisputable statement, perverting its content to show it is in no way a “highest award”, and on and on to an extent that shows his sheer envy of Premanand and desire to crush his reputation, nothing more. However, it was given for his relentless efforts towards promotion of scientific attitudes among common people, all over the country, through lecture-cum-demonstrations on and scientific explanation of hundreds of the so-called miracles employed by self-styled godmen; and through books written and television shows that he conducted on the same subject in India and abroad. He has exposed Sathya Sai Baba, not least in the 800-plus page compendium of evidence in his book ‘Murders in Sai Baba’s Bedroom’

Lying smears against critics – Gerald Moreno

leave a comment »

Robert Priddy recently commented on Gerald Moreno’s trivial and deeply untruthful  blog in which he attacks Priddy as having believed what most Sai Baba devotees still believe even after the widespread exposure of his unholy acts from 2000 onwards – for example, that he is Allah who sent Muhammed [which Priddy has never believed or stated anywhere]. Here is what Moreno wrote:-

Moreno attacks what most Sai Baba devotees still believe!

Here is what Priddy wrote about the above smears:–

Moreno went to India seeking God in Sathya Sai Baba. He proclaims that Baba is ‘vishvarupa’ – i.e. an incarnate form of God. He still believes in Sai Baba’s divinity, witnessed by his endless adulatory blogs (despite having believed for years he is a sexual abuser!). Though I formerly considered Sai Baba an avatar with divine qualities, I never hailed him as Father of Jesus – simply reported that he had made that claim. Never have I hailed him as Allah who sent Muhammad [perish the thought! – this is an outright falsification (or at best false memory syndrome on Moreno’s behalf?) Moreno distorts everything. Amusing that he seems not to see that he offends all those alleged millions who still believe Sai Baba is all he claims to be, clearly implying that they are all mentally unsound! Since 2000, they are in denial, though, and many have a cognitive disorder, as Moreno certainly shows he has.
